At Auriol Junior School, our progressive science curriculum equips the children with the essential knowledge and scientific skills required to understand the uses and implications of science, today and for the future. Sequential lessons build upon prior knowledge and provide a range of science enquiries that support the children to answer scientific questions and foster a deeper understanding about the world around them.

Our goal is to promote a passion for exploration, providing children with the knowledge and skills to apply science in practical settings. By engaging in hands-on experiences, we encourage curiosity surrounding different scientific concepts, which empowers our learners to think as a scientist.
