School Lunches
Parents will now need to order meals direct with Cucina/Kanpla. Please do not email the school with your meal provision changes.
Warning – We are a nut - free zone!
Some teachers and children suffer from severe nut allergies, so no products containing nuts should be brought to school.
CUCINA
At Auriol we believe that a healthy balanced diet plays a huge part in our children's ability to arrive in the classroom ready to learn. Our new caterers, CUCINA will be providing a varied menu each week, the current menu is available to download at the bottom of this page. Ordering School Meals
If you would like your child to have a school dinner you will need to have signed up to your Cucina/Kanpla account (see previous sign email sent from Kanpla) or visit https://app.impactfood.co.uk . You will need to pre book your child's lunches by the Sunday prior to the week commencing (before 11pm). You can alternate between school meals and packed lunches.
The above also applies even if your child is on free school meals.
If you have forgotten to order your child's meal on the day, your child will automatically be offered a ham, cheese or tuna roll and be charged on your meal account. If you have missed the deadline and wish to book the remainder of the week you will need to ring Cucina direct on 0204 542 7211.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
In line with our Health and Safety and due diligence responsibilities and with reference to recent changes to food allergen legislation, Cucina will contact parents of those with allergies/intolerances to discuss your child's meal plan.
If your child requires a special diet for religious, ethical or medical reasons (even if your child is not on school lunches) you must complete and sign a Special Dietary Form and hand into the school office and also contact Cucina should you wish to start school meals. Form can be found at the bottom of this page.
Payment
The school meals are £3.00 per day. All payments are now made via Cucina/Kanpla app and not via Arbor. You will need to pay in advance for your child's meal on the Kanpla app for your child to receive a meal. If you have forgotten to do this you will need to contact them directly to make a payment by 10am or provide a packed lunch for your child.
Free School Meals
Your child may be entitled to Free School Meals. Please check with the school office on info@auriol.surrey.sch.uk if you think you may be eligible and/or if you require an application form. Packed Lunch
As we are a nut free school please do not include ANY nut/sesame (this includes hummus) type or chocolate bars, crisps, fizzy drink/flavoured water in your child's lunch box, (Kitkat/Penguin type bars are allowed).
